April 25,26,27 at Bangor Crusaders (5-8)

April 25-Aurelio Barron had two hits and an RBI, and Tracy Osborne added a pair of doubles with an RBI as the Crusaders beat the Mules 5-2. Tony Aguirre managed to pick up the win, going eight innings, allowing 13 hits, but just two runs and one walk with seven strikeouts earning the win. Roberto Rodriguez picked up three hits for Newmarket in the loss (7-7)

April 26-Mario Decos helped the Mules end their losing streak as he hit a grand slam homerun and added a two run double on top of that, driving in six runs total and Ryan Vickerson added three hits and a pair of RBI in a wild offensive game as Newmarket beat Bangor 13-8. Alberto Flores, in just his 2nd big league game for the Mules, went 3-5 with a homerun and two RBI in the win. (8-7)

April 28-Mario Decos hit a grand slam, his 4th homerun in his last four games, but it wasn't enough as Jose Munoz went 2-5 with a homer and three RBI as August outlasted Newmarket 9-7. Francis Lewis and Andy Taylor each drove in a pair of runs for the Moose in the win. (8-9)

April 29-Andy Taylor hit a leadoff homerun off John Coury, who was in his third inning of relief in the top of the 13th inning, helping the Moose beat the Mules in extra innings, 4-3. Dennis Spears went 3-6 with an RBI in the loss, and the Augusta bullpen pitched 7 innings of scoreless, two hit ball to earn the win, walking five and striking out four. (8-10)

April 30-Jesus Guardado pitched a complete game, allowing seven hits and two runs, while walking two and striking out 11, throwing 121 pitches, and he got offensive support from Fernando Peralta, who lead off the bottom of the first for the Mules with a solo HR, and Bobby Harris, who went 2-3 with a pair of RBI as Newmarket beat Augusta 3-2. (9-10)
