In the last season of my solo league (Texas), starting in July, I ended up with 4 of 9 starting batters out for the season. Because my pitching was unaffected (a problem in itself) we managed to win the division big time. To my surprise we won the first round 4-2 but were blown out in the League Championship 4-0 by Seattle the wild card team. The beauty of this was the performance of some of my call ups changed my whole strategy during the off season.

The distribution of injuries to pitchers is way way off.
