The National League seems to have very quickly separated itself into the haves (Boston, Troy, Cleveland and Detroit) and the have-nots (Providence, Chicago, Worcester and Buffalo). This week Detroit will visit Cleveland, which might help break the logjam at the top.
Individually, Dan Brouthers of Troy is off to a magnificent start. Brouthers has been a top-notch hitter for years, but seems to be coming into his own as a potential MVH candidate.
