-The Marblehead Magicians continue to make changes this offseason as they sign 3B Sergio Rosas to a three year contract worth $2,874,000. A year ago for Salem, Rosas hit .269 with 11 HR and 36 RBI. Known more for his glove than his bat, Rosas played all four infield positions last year, committing just two total errors in 406 chances.
-The big signing of the offseason goes to the Dover Green Wave, albiet a little puzzling as they sign 1B Marcos Diaz away from the Exeter Blue Hawks to a 3 year, $12 million dollar contract. Last year, Decos put up a line of .287 with 26 homeruns and 70 RBI. He appeared in 98 games, picking up 101 hits for Newmarket, but was set to lose his starting job to young Sergio Hernandez.
