Walsh finished 31-2 with a 1.99 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, 271.1 IP, 261 K, a 86.6 VORP, and his 5th Cy Young.
The 86.6 VORP actually pales in comparison to the 101.1 he put up the year before when he went 25-4/1.74/1.01/276.1/235
In his last start, he allowed 6 ER in 4.2 IP....I yanked him so his ERA wouldn't go above 2.
I'm scared now though, I had run some testing because I wanted to look at changing some modifiers.........and Walsh got a CEI this season
I know that doesn't mean it's going to happen again when I play it out, but I don't know what I'd do.
