We're thinking of adding them in the BLB as well.

1998 Yankees posted some good information on feeder leagues here:

Feeder Leagues - Too much talent in Draft?

The only area I disagree from my testing is regarding the number of feeder league teams to add. His formula is:

Quote:
[Number of teams in your parent league] x [Number of rounds in your first-year player draft] = total # of players needed in first-year player draft

[total # of players needed for draft] / 6 (rounded up) = minimum # of feeder league teams required
For my league this came out to 60 teams. (24 teams * 15 rounds = 360 players. 360 / 6 = 60.

However, when using 60 teams I found that it was creating about 500 players for each draft pool.

I think it's much better to have too few feeder league teams rather than too many. Reason being, if you have too many the talent in your league will be out of whack. The more players in the draft pool, the more talented players there are. If you have too few the game just creates enough to make up the difference. They won't have feeder league stats but it's better than the alternative.
