April 20,21,22 v Orono Red Riot (4-8)

April 20-Take your pick of offensive heroes for the Mules today, was it Quint Kobes, who went 4-5 with four RBI and three runs scored, or was it Roberto Rodriguez, who hit two homeruns, driving in four, or Fernando Peralta who scored five times, or even Felipe Garcia, who struck out 10 over six innings. At any rate, with all this going on, Newmarket destroyed Orono, 18-2. Even rookie Dominic Proulx, called up after the trade of Jose Barron, pitched two perfect innings, striking out a pair in his debut. (10-3)

However, Augusta would tie it in the bottom of the inning off John Coury, and in the bottom of the 10th inning, Jose Robles hit a two out two run HR off Antonio Najera, giving the Moose an 8-6 win over the Mules. Quint Kobes went 4-5 with a homerun in the loss for Newmarket, while Jose Salinas went 2-4 with two RBI to lead Augusta. (12-4)
