my activity rules take from various guys universes here.
the basic concept is that each fighter has a percentage chance of fighting depending on their conditioning rating, this was the only way i could see of not having inactive rated guys fight all the time!
the base chances are as follows and note I want a very active universe.
1 Near perfect 90%
2 Well conditioned 80%
3 Borderline condition 70%
4 Weight problems 60%
5 Party animal 70%
6 Aging inconsistent vet 50%
7 Inactive 30%
8 Fights too frequently 100%
9 Headcase 70%
10 Malcontent 60%
11 Physical and mental problems 40%
12 Seldom if ever trains 80%
This base system is changed for fighters with certain events come up in the game as follows.
1. Each month a fighter is inactive his base chance of fighting in the next month is increased by a culmalative 10%
2. After each KO defeat a fighter must automatically rest one month.
3. After each TKO defeat a fighter must automatically rest two months.
4. Fighters in the Beginning and Top Prospect group increase their chances of fighting each month by 20%
5. World champions decrease there chances of fighting each month by 20%
6. Once a fighter has had an aging effect applied to him in his career his chances of fighting each month are reduced by 10%.
So with this system its possible some fighters may fight up to twelve times a year. But much more likely they will be fighting between 3-8 times a year, which should be perfect.
