You might keep in mind that Markus pretty much gave us the 19th century leagues as a favor. 19th century leagues were never really intended to be part of the game. Because of the chaos of the 19th century baseball.

If you have ootp9 then i would like to take a look at the database you are using for importing players. PM me and ill give you my email address.
Just hang in there cause i can assure you that you can start a league from the 19th century.
My solo league started in 1871 and is up to 1881 but Cap Anson still has not played on a championship team.
