Finley injured in off-field accident
Angels veteran quiet of circumstances

ANAHEIM — Chuck Finley has suffered a fractured ulna in an off-field accident that the Angels pitcher has declined to comment on.

Finley, 36, is expected to be out until mid-May as a result of the injury. Club officials have suggested the injury took place on the way home from last night's game against the Cleveland Indians, but would not elaborate. Finley was scheduled to pitch tonight but 22-year-old A.J. Burnett has been moved up to the No. 2 spot in the rotation and lefty Allen Watson will move into the starting rotation.

Finley is married to actress Tawny Kiaten, best known for her lead role in Whitesnake's "Here I Go Again." The couple has had a rocky relationship and some sources have speculated the injury is somehow related to a domestic situation between the couple.
