Been trying to do this since when I first bought the game, I want to have modern baseball stats from 1901 to 2008 to really see who was the "greatest" I have tried adjusting recalc the league strategy but spritze suggested I modifiy the era stats and modifiers so I did that.


In the era stats file, I modified it so in 1910, there are only 16 teams, and I took the # of at bats and homeruns in a modern 2008 season and divided it so I got the exact same number as the Modern MLB if it were cut to 16 teams and I did that for each year of expansion. I adjusted the modifiers so they are all modern era.

But I still can not get an accurate representation, The top HR hitter in 1922 was Babe Ruth with 14, the strikeout leader is 56, the game crashes when I try to introduce minors.

Has anyone ever done this? or am I first to attempt this, I dont want a "deadball era", I want everyone to have a level playing field across 100 years of history.
