is it possible to customize playoffs to allow for a bye for the division winners like football ?

say I have a league with 16 teams, 2 leagues and I want the top 3 from each league to make the playoffs and the top team in each league to get a bye.

The 2nd best and 3rd best play in a wildcard round and then face off against the top team in each league then the winner plays for the championship?

The customize screen says the number of teams has to be power of 2 which says I cannot do what i want (so much for customizing).

any way around this?
