One of the main themes of this thread is that having pitchers automatically sac bunt with men on base is both substantially unhistorical and boring -- as is position players rarely sac bunting in these situations. The good news is that this can be much improved with the available tools, for people like myself who care about what happens in individual games. I think this is where Garlon and I see things differently. Garlon is more interested in macro-level results. I, like you, want things to look "right" at the micro-level. Based on the number of single-season replay type games out there, I'll bet many people share our interest. Indeed, many people have fond memories of specific seasons and enjoy "reliving" them. I hope OOTP10 would offer more options for this type of user.
