Boston Red Sox v. Seattle Mariners
Boston has to be poised to bounce back from their difficulties in Oakland with their first trip to Seattle this season.
The Mariners (23-28) enter the series in 3rd place in the American League West, 3.5 games behind the Anaheim Angels, and in 7th place in the Wild card race. The Mariners, though, are on a cold streak, having lost six straight coming into the series. They currently rank 13th in the AL in runs (213) an 11th in batting (.262). Their pitching staff has been a bright spot, as their starting staff ranks 7th in ERA (4.52).
