I forgot to mention that San Francisco beat Las Vegas 3-0 on a 1-hitter in the NL West play-in game.

I'm very interested in the playoffs for this season. I've got my Hartford Whalers in there, for one thing. Secondly, the Cleveland Indians had a very good year at 103-59 and are determined to get back to the World Series. Third, the defending champion Washington Nationals made the playoffs at 81-81 by virtue of winning a very weak NL East. I'd like to see what kind of a fight they put up against the Houston Astros. Speaking of Houston, they were defeated last year by Washington in the NLCS, so they're looking for revenge. A lot of interesting storylines this year.
