In the American League, Cleveland made quick work of San Antonio, winning in a four game sweep. Cleveland outscored San Antonio 24 to 7 in the four games.

In the National League, Houston's pitching, which was great all year, failed them miserably against St. Louis. Houston's bats did the job, but it wasn't enough. Houston won the first game while St. Louis won the last four. The Cardinals outscored the Astros 55 to 34 in the five games, including 23 runs in Game 2 alone. If you liked pitching duels, you would have hated this series.

The World Series pits the St. Louis Cardinals vs. the Cleveland Indians. The Indians are back for the 2nd year in a row and are looking to win this time. The key factor will be how well the home teams perform. The Indians are 5-1 in the postseason, while the Cardinals are a perfect 6-0.
