2102 World Series: St. Louis Cardinals vs. Cleveland Indians

Game 4, Cleveland 7 at St. Louis 6 (12 innings)

The story of the 2102 postseason was the Cleveland Indians. After falling behind Baltimore 3-2 in the division series and being only three outs from elimination, they came back and won ten games in a row to win their first World Series title. The Indians clinched at Busch Stadium to win an exciting Game 4, 7-6 in 12 innings.

St. Louis led 4-0 after one inning, but Cleveland scored three runs in the 4th and 7th innings to take a 6-4 lead. The Cardinals tied it with two runs in the 8th. But in the 12th, right fielder Jason Potter homered to give the Indians the lead, and the bullpen took care of the rest. Potter had a spectacular season, hitting .354 with 32 home runs and 103 RBI's, with a .436 OBP and 1.076 OPS. So it was only fitting that Potter was the hero.
