And, just to be sure, OOTP does not distribute a certain amount of HRs across all the players in the league. Instead, it uses League Totals as an example of the average outcome of a single Plate Appearance, then determines the probability of an occurrance in each unique PA by comparing the quality of the pitcher and the hitter in question for that PA, and comparing those to the "average PA."

In other words, if you put 10,000 in for HRs in the League Totals, there is no expectation that players in your league are actually going to hit 10,000 HRs.
