Setup is near complete for the Pastime Baseball League.

The league features 16 teams who will stage an inaugural draft of 533 players comprised of the best players to debut
a) before 1900
b) since and including 2000
c) 34 Negro League stars

Each year, players who debuted in a given 5-year segment from the 1900s will make up the 5-round amateur draft pool.

Rosters are 24 active players, with an 8-man reserve squad.

Players are imported based on their first season of at least semi-regular playing time. As such, some players haven't hit their peaks yet. I wanted the chance for player development to occur, rather than everyone at their peak year. Ratings are based on normalized stats, to even the cross-era playing field. This is done using Davenport Translations per Baseball Prospectus.

League totals are designed to be mid 80s totals, so home run leaders should be high 30s, low 40s. Team ERAs should be low 4s.
