Don't get me wrong Cubby I think you do a great job with the roster set and I really appreciate your efforts, but it seems to me from your answer that the roster set only works properly with coaches on and scouting off:
- With coaches OFF (most online leagues I've seen) the available dollars will presumably be ~$10m too high because you say you have set the available dollars at 2008 payroll plus the inflated staff payroll.
- With scouting ON you are saying the available dollars should be increased by $2.5m.
I am sorry if I am missing something really obvious but I thought that the roster set would work without needing financials to be manually edited depending on what selections are made for coaches and scouts. If the inflated staff payroll issue can be isolated and resolved then the roster set would work with all permutations regarding coaches and scouts without any requirement for financials to be manually edited.
