That's about as dominant a season as I can ever remember seeing in this replay,and you could definitely see it coming,little by little,this team continued to build until the finally put it all together.Another thing I noticed,was the struggles of Richie Ashburn, he's yet to live up to his potential thats for sure.A .337 career OBP for a leadoff man is just not getting it done.On the other hand,Joe Dimaggio has really come on as of late,making up for those 5 bad seasons by getting his lifetime average over the .300 mark and cracking the 2,000 hit barrier.Definite HOF'er in my book.
