Okay, I followed Nutlaw's advice and all seems to be okay. I copied the .dat files into a new folder and proceeded to the end of the regular season, at which time I received a new message about the regular season being over and the playoffs beginning soon. The new message actually contained more information, as it listed the playoff teams, whereas the original message from September 20 didn't. I tried to play through the playoffs to make sure it went off without a hitch, but rosters had more than 25 active players, and I didn't have enough time to get them to pre-September call-up levels (I had to go back to work
).
Markus and Steve are also helping me out with my league files just in case I need it. Thanks to everyone for the advice and tech support. This place is awesome!
