I'm continuing a discussion we had in another thread
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-together.html
where we started discussing creating new stadiums using 3D modeling software. Since we had sort of highjacked that thread and were off topic, I decided to continue the discussion here.
As I mentioned, I am designing stadiums for my Keystone Baseball League teams, starting with York, Pa. Phineas Davis Field will be a roughly 6,000 seat stadium similar in design to the old Ebbets field (short high fence in RF, large scoreboard, lots of signs on the OF fences).
Before doing any 3D, I figured out exactly what I want the stadium to look like using a 2D overhead view. This is it--
The RF wall will be roughly 28-30 ft high. The scoreboard is roughly 30 x 21 ft. Part of the fence will be a see through screen but most of it will be covered with signs. A street that runs behind the fence caused the odd dimensions.
I'll post more as my work continues.
