I have to pick one of the prospects to follow to get a personal interest in this league, so I'm going to follow the exploits of this youngster in the coming years:

7. 3B Chris Hartle, 20, Asheville Tourists

I'm picking an everyday player at a power-hitting position, so let's hope Chris is the real McCoy. Hope you're able to update his yearly results, AZTarHeel. I imagine he'll be in the Developmental League to begin with, then it's on to Asheville, hopefully, unless he's involved in a blockbuster trade. Which reminds me, is there free agency yet in the North Carolina State League? Thanks.
