Devil Rays' Johnson wins award
Tampa Bay catcher claims fourth Gold Glove

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — For the second consecutive season, and fourth time in his career, Tampa Bay Devil Rays catcher Charles Johnson has been recognized with a Gold Glove award.
Johnson, 29, won the award in 1995 and 1996 with the Florida Marlins, and also won the award in 1999 with Tampa Bay.
"I'm really honored by this," Johnson said in a press conference at Tropicana Field. "I really take a lot of pride in my defense and my job as the catcher, so to be given this award is really great."
