SUGGESTION: In addition to the current ability to restrict players from teams by setting team home nations, be allowed to block players from teams by selecting 'no players from' on a dropdown menu.

REASON: This would be an interim step towards being able to set up World Cup-style leagues or events.

Suppose that 40% of players in a historical league are from countries other than the US. With a 30 team league you could set 18 to only accept US players. You'd get maybe two each for Japan and the Dominican Republic and one each for Puerto Rico, Cuba and Venezuela. That's 25, but no other countries would provide enough players to make up a full team, so how do you fill out the last five teams?

You could create a 'US versus the World' setup if you had the option of just setting the other five teams to 'no players from US'. It still wouldn't keep the final five from poaching players from Japan, etc., but it comes closer than what we have now. You could look at this as a stepping stone on the way to full World Cup functionality in Version 11, but it would also be useful in other situations.

PRIORITY: Oh, probably 'Low', even though this doesn't seem to me to be a huge programming problem. It would really be more useful to just go straight to World Cup functionality, but this would at least be a step in the right direction.

An alternative would be to be able to set 'only accept players from this group of countries', but then you run into the problem of how to group them. The most flexible way would be to add two entries to your current listing of home countries — an all white flag that means 'multiple home countries'. If you click that you will be prompted to select another country, and another, and another until you select the all black flag, which means 'selecting finished'. That way you could make up an all-Commonwealth team, an all-European, an all-Hispanic, or whatever groupings you wanted.

Maybe that should've been my primary suggestion. I'll rate that one 'Medium'. It sounds as least as easy to implement as the other, and it's more generally useful.
