I checked and I was able to adjust the settings for the minor leagues for all teams through commissioner mode. I noticed the next day that all teams did release and/or sign a few players, including mine, but it wasn't an absurd amount of players. The ones that were released from my minor league teams were players I had no problem with being released. I haven't had time to play any more but I will keep an eye on it and see how it works.
