Boston has opened up a bit of a lead in the National League race, although there are five other teams with winning records that aren't far behind. Once again, Anson and Barnes are leading the way for Boston with averages of .409 and .336 respectively. They are also getting some great offense from Sadie Houck (.354) and John O'Rourke (.336). If this offensive attack continues at its current pace, it's hard to see how Boston can lose the pennant.
