Here's a thought: why not just speak to everyone on the internet the same way you would if you were speaking to them face-to-face? Is that so hard? Why is simple courtesy so difficult for so many people?
Far, far too many people on the net adopt a brusque 'tough guy' tone toward others simply because they can. The net is largely anonymous and people use it to say things to others that they would never, never, NEVER say to a person's face.
