Andrew Golota (2-1 2) vs. Bob Devere (0-1) – Devere had been winning in their first contest until Golota clocked him in the 7th round. Devere began with a few jabs, trying to feel Golota out, and Geets caught him with a ripping hook. Devere blinked, backed away and, as Golota followed, threw a blistering combination, and Golota dropped with a thud

! He jumped up at the count of 3, and Devere hammered him with a sizzling hook! Golota staggered backward, trying to get out harm’s way. Devere landed some more hooks, causing Golota to move his arms in an attempt to block. Seeing what he needed, Devere uncorked a shot to the body, and Golota dropped again

. The bell sounded, alas to late for Golota, as he couldn’t beat the count of 10! Bob Devere avenged his loss with a KO at 3:00 of the 1st round! Golota truly was the man for whom the bell tolled!

And a 6th challenger has come through!
