Yeah, Takashi Saito certainly shouldn't be 80...probably between 50-60 overall. But yes, the vast majority (about 98%) of the independent players are mearly random, meaning the rosters were initially filled with fictional players, and I just went through and filled in real information for each player (name, position, birthday, birth location, sometimes jersey). This is definitely a bummer, but there are literally hundreds of players, and not enough information/patience/time to assess each one properly. As for the collegiate players, that is mearly a result of the broken feeder leagues currently in-game, and the draft classes are WAY too good.
