Even better, give me the Blue Jays with Otto Velez as the franchise player! No way the Jays would have won 54 games in 1977 without him!

Toronto is a tough one for picking a franchise player for this type of situation since the players that own spots on the Jays all-time leaders lists (Steib, Whitt, Bell, Tony Fernandez, Lloyd Moseby) pale in comparison to the legends from other franchises.
