Here are a few observations/concerns I posted in another thread and should probably go here:
I have looked in the editor to confirm that there are 4-5 guys or so per organization that have all 0s for their pitches. You end up with hundreds of these guys getting released after the first draft and clogging the FA. This appears to be the only way to get a stuff rating of 20 - is this the idea?
Additionally, the free agency ranks are almost all pitchers and catchers as the AI loads up on position players since in my run the injuries have hit position players disproportionately hard compared to real life.
Regarding the minor league league totals, every minor league through June has an ERA of at least 4.70 and average of over .270. This leads to the somewhat comical situation of batters hitting .300 being not ready for AAA and pitchers with ERAs of over 6.00 not being demoted. I'm assuming this is tied to the league totals and not the effect of the new minor league DL.
One last thing, and this is far more minor, Brandon Inge has no catcher rating despite having caught 60 games last year - is this a design move? I see he has fielding ratings. If its a design move to keep him from being pushed there, then I understand.
