If you offer a trade that the other team can afford, which you cannot, the game will rightly indicate that ("Los Angeles (N) cannot afford the contracts...") but will display the inverse effect on your budget room.

That is, it'll say it will increase instead of decrease. That could lead to some confusion.

It displays properly when the imbalance goes the other way, so it's cosmetic rather than serious, but ought to be fixed to avoid confusion.
