I knew this was a fictional game mostly but heard the historical part was getting better... Its a pain.... I want COMPLETE control over ALL teams and full season rosters at once and control over the rosters control over the managers with a few clicks (IE dmb, action, strat ). Start a series in 2 minutes.

I like what the one poster said. Make this game two complete different entities. This can't do what I want it too...
I'm asking for a refund and will check back next year...
OOTPB is a great game. However, it takes a lot of time and work to get it the way you want it.

I am willing to take that time and have a great league and a great game. I play in the Commissioner Mode so I can totally control all rosters and lineups. I created an All-Time All-Star League with each of the 16 original franchises. I researched the top 25 players for each of the franchises, then imported them from Baseball-Research database and adjusted the ratings, if needed. Then each season I would import the new rookies. It took a lot of time and work, but it was well worth it. Sadly, a virus wiped out my computer and I lost the league.

Stupidly, I did not keep back-up on an external storage disc or another computer.

But I do now. I spent a $130 for an external back-up source and it has been money well-spent. It recently saved another league that I have spent three years on.
