Pebbles, my main bar, just 127 steps from my office, is closing June 30 after 40+ years of business

. I've been a regular there for at least 20. While the beers will still flow (somewhere), it is the end of an era, and some friendships and associations will suffer. I'm still reeling.

The Binks have vowed to fight harder, but they probably can't beat Ms. Bankhead. It's a sad day in B-more, Woodlawn and Catonsville!

Any misspellings are definitely beer-induced!
