EDIT: As a matter of fact the only city with Saint in it's name that is recognized by the abbreviation of St is St Louis. In future versions this should really be changed, at least for US cities as St is usually the recognizable and commonly used spelling. Saint Helens in England is spelled St. Helens in the database. Useless info, but relevant.
