But if manager ratings affect how your pitchers develop and perform, how can they have nothing to do wtih anything? And it does affect them getting fired if their team's pitching goes in the tank because of these new ratings. And also, if the fictional managers all seem to get better ratings across the board, after a few seasons all the RL managers will be unemployed and we'll have fake managers running all the teams. Seems to sap some fo the realism from the game.
