This sounds exactly like the problem mentioned in: Schedule Problem

I have spring training and regular season games on opening day. This is my second season of a historical league I started in 1982. I did not edit the schedules in any way. During the first year I released all players and had a fantasy draft.

I have the 10.1.14 patch.
