piece of adivce re: promotion/relgation... best time to do it is on the first day of pre-season, this way the records for previous seasons are kept in-tact, yet the new season is set-up before anything happens. I also recommend setting up some kind of play-off system for promotion/relegation, in case of ties etc. maybe have the 2nd last team in the premier division face the 2nd team in league 1 in a series, with the winner being in the premier league, the loser in division 1?
