I'll give credit to them on this. But to put things in perspective they finally FINALLY did what they had to do right tactically. Hands down this is the line-up we need to see for the rest of the year, except with feilhaber starting, and into the WC unless someone else comes along who is deserving.
1. Bradley finally ditched his idiotic systems and used a traditional 4-4-2 something that is almost always better to use when playing a better side and with less talented overall players. keep it simple
2. He took Donovan out of the front and put him at outside mid, where he belongs. Landon simply doesn't have the technical ability to make up for his lack of physical ability to play forward at the higher level, and is more naturally an outside mid anyway imo. keep him and clint there and let davies and altidore stay up top.
3. Keep THE DEFENSE AS IS. This has to be our defense the rest of the way hands down.
Some things I would like to see change
1. Feilhaber has to start. He's our best overall player imo and brings so much to the middle of the field with his vision and technical ability. He should start over Bradley or Clark, he's a lot better than both.
2. USSF and Bradley need to start complaining to FIFA and standing up for themselves because the red cards have been appauling. Bradley's card today wasn't a red let alone a yellow, and there needs to be some serious probing of why this is happening. It's obvious to me that there is a whole lot of anti-us setiment over in europe based on america etc, but it shouldnt be held against our players on the pitch. The US IMO is being targeted by referees or fifa as a whole because they dislike the country or our goverment at the very least, and it needs to stop.
3. Can we find someone better than Conor Casey to bring on in the closing minutes? Whenever I see him coming on it looks like an overweight us fan.
