Yet again did I state anywhere that English refs were perfect ? Again just in case you missed it I stated English refs even though imo they are the best are few and far between. The pace and such of International football is way beyond what refs from lesser countries are used to, for everytime you mention a top ref making a balls up I could probably mention 10 times the ammount made by refs from lesser countries.

I also stated in previous posts why I think the quality of refs is going down and when you get a ref who is used to officiating games you could nearly rank as non league games and you put him into an atmosphere he isn't used to (running the lines is TOTALLY different than being the man in the middle) then you can expect him to make more mistakes than one who is used to the pressure.
