The most unique 19th century league is converting

Trans-Continental Base Ball Association was founded in 1870 as the world's first fully professional baseball league. We're nearing the end of the 1877 season, our first year with OOTP X, and have an opening with the Cincinnati Trojans.

The league has many unique features that set it apart from your typical deadball league:
  • Teams are fictional
  • Drafted players are fictional, and top historical rookies are added to the free agent pool each offseason
  • Free agency with 8 years service
  • Extensive network of minor and independent leagues allowing opportunities to purchase players and affiliate with multiple teams at each minors level
  • Sims are three weeks at a time, three times per week, getting through an entire season in one month.
  • Condensed stats modifiers, starting the liveball era in the mid 1880s
  • Historically accurate market sizes based on census data with opportunities to relocate
  • NEW: Offseason barnstorming league to give your players more opportunity to develop
