This might be answered previously, but I´m too lazy to read all pages.

Why can´t I turn retired players like Joel Skinner, Luis Rivera, Davey Lopes, Sam Perlozzo into coaches ?????

Tim Wallach worked OK to put him into Isotopes, but I would like to have those 1st and 3rd base coaches be available for future Bench Coach or even Manager duty.

Any guesses.
