Hey guys, I mentioned this earlier in the thread but it wasnt acknowledged or picked up for the last patch/ data update.
I think it's a rather big set of errors, because it screws the A's financially for multiple years and seems easy to fix -
Oakland A's 2009 contracts
Jack Cust - IRL Cust makes $2.9m in 2009 (one year contract)
In OOTPX after 2009 he moves to a 5 year x $18.5m contract!
Justin Duchscherer - IRL makes $3.9m in 2009 (one year contract)
In OOTPX after 2009 he moves to a 5 year x $15m contract!
Given that the A's start with a $63m player salary budget these errors are pretty big for A's GMs.
Another very odd contract -
Marlon Byrd (Rangers) is another with a strangely wrong contract -
IRL Byrd makes $3.06m in 2009 (one year contract)
In OOPX he then moves to a 5 year $15m contract
There are a few more of these hugely backloaded, unrealistic contracts out there (bug?) which I won't bother listing - these are the major ones.
Cot's Baseball Contracts
