February 26th – Light Heavyweight division: #4 ranked Jack Root (20-3-2 (8)) scored a 5th round knockout over #3 ranked George Gardner 20-2-2 (10).
The real historical bout ended in a six round draw.
February 29th – Featherweight division: In a PBR title bout, #13 ranked Dave Sullivan 24-11-1 (11) scored a 2nd round TKO over the champion, Young Corbett II 26-2-1 (14) to capture the title. Corbett had defended his title twice.
In the real historical bout, Sullivan scored an 11th round TKO. Per BoxRec.com, Corbett defended his World title at 130 lbs but Abe Attell was recognized as the true World Featherweight champion at 122lbs.
