Scouting players in-game while draft is done using the Draft Utility

I am in an online league that is holding its inaugural draft, which is being done online using the draft utility that seems fairly popular, I can't think of the name at the moment.

Anyway, the draft utility is great for entering picks, etc., but it is not particularly flexible for scouting the draft pool. So I'm doing that in-game using the league file provided by the commissioner. However, I can see that once this goes a few rounds, it will be difficult to keep track of which players were already drafted while looking at the draft pool in-game. By the time the 5th round rolls around, for example, I'll have to know to ignore around 120-130 players in the pool that were already picked out-of-game.

Is there a way I'm not seeing to easily identify who has been picked so far out-of-game while reviewing the draft list in-game? (I thought maybe "shortlisting" them would help, but I don't see any way to exclude shortlisted players using a custom filter or anything like that.)

Should I be printing out on paper some extensive filtered lists and then just cross off the players as they are picked?

Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can give me on how you handle these out-of-game utilty-driven drafts.
