If I invite a rookie who is not on the 40-man roster to the majors for spring training, will that start their service/FA/arbitration clock? Since in real life I know Tommy Hanson and Jason Heyward weren't on the 40-man roster and they were still called up to get a few at-bats and pitches in at the majors for spring training.
