1) It will not accept my license, but it will also not then let me access the Game Preferences section to "unlicense" the game from within the application. In fact, all of the games menu choices are greyed out. I can only close the application.

2) Furthermore, even if this worked, the link in the sticky to download the replacement "OOTP 10.app" is broken.

OOTP10 worked for about a week using what I think is latest version 10.2.16. Mac Leopard OSX on iMac 3.06 gHz.

Would appreciate your prompt suggestions and advice! I hate when OOTP inevitably crashes after you've invested a season or two into a particular game!

Thank y
I'll see what I can put on the table for you. You can certainly download the entire game, just as if you were purchasing it for the first time. You can install it in a different location, and copy just the OOTP application to your original game folder. Or you can move your saved game and any custom files to a different location, trash your original game folder, install the new game, and move the custom stuff back in.

If you still have one of your two license numbers available, you can use it to license the new version. If both have been used before, then you have to get them released by going to the PISD site. Not a problem and not difficult.

I have had no problems with the game crashing and I've even tried to make it crash toward the end of beta. However, it is certainly possible for something to get corrupted. My theory is that almost always this occurs in the application itself, though there have been reports of problems occurring which suggest some other file getting corrupted. For example, there are some hidden files. If they are the problem, then installing a new copy of the game might not solve the problem (those files probably won't be replaced by the new installation). However, this is fixable too, though it helps if you know how to find hidden files on a Mac.

Hope this helps.
