I would also wait for the next patch, but as far as a refund goes i doubt it very much...You have already had the game for a few months so i would be surprised...The last patch fixed the pitcher problem, however I don't import my leagues, i always start new leagues with each release. I can understand why your frustrated, i hope the patch includes a fix for you..
